Proposed Environmental Improvements Consultation

This consultation is restricted to tenants and residents of Lordburn Place and Restenneth Drive, Forfar.

We are proposing changes to the waste and recycling system in your area by:

• removing all individual grey and blue bins
• installing designated communal bin areas and shared recycling points, specifically designed to improve waste management

These changes aim to:

• reduce the number of bins left at the kerbside, preventing obstruction and clutter
• enhance the appearance of the area, making it a cleaner and more pleasant place to live
• make recycling easier and more effective, reducing contamination and preventing overflowing bins
• improve pedestrian safety, ensuring that pavements remain clear and accessible for children, pram users, wheelchair users, and all residents
