Pet Policy Consultation-Calling Angus Council Tenants: Have Your Say!

We know how important pets are to many of our tenants, and we want to make sure our policies reflect what matters to you.

That’s why we’re reviewing and updating our Pet Policy, and we want you to be part of the conversation.

As we developed the draft policy, we looked at a range of issues.

We now want to hear your views, especially if you are an Angus Council tenant.

The policy explains:

  • how to get permission to keep a pet
  • what to do if you already have a pet
  • which pets tenants are allowed to keep
  • what we consider when deciding if permission can be given
  • the rules tenants must follow if permission is granted
  • how we protect staff and the community from any problems caused by pets

Who can take part

  • all Angus Council tenants and residents
  • Angus Council staff
  • anyone affected by the policy
