We want your views on playing outdoors
Playing is a huge part of being a child. We are looking at outdoor play, such as in a garden, a street, a park, a woodland, and also what we call ‘formal play areas’, which have play equipment like swings and roundabouts.
We want to hear about playing outdoors in your local area. We have a number of questions, but they are quick and easy.
Let us know how we can make playing outside better for you.
How to get involved
Scroll down to find the right survey for your age group and use the map tool to place a pin on an area and tell us why its important.
Teachers or Parents or Guardians, if assisting children in filling in the survey, encourage them to express their own views. We want to hear their thoughts on their local area and what play is like for them.
Teacher or Youth Leader, children can fill in individually, however we have the option to do the survey together as a group.
We also have paper copies in local libraries, community campuses, and country parks.
