Montrose Community Council - Seagreen Wind Farm Major Grant

We're thrilled to announce that four Montrose-based community projects are in the final round to possibly receive a share of £250,000 from the Seagreen Wind Farm Major Grant Fund.

Two projects will each receive £125,000 from a public vote which you can have your say on here. Just review the four projects (Montrose Community Trust HQ, ProMO, Pump Track, and Union Park Community Hub), scroll down the right-hand side of the screen to find the information boards, and then cast your single vote. In the event of a tie, Seagreen will have a final say on which project they feel will bring the biggest legacy to Montrose as a community.

Voters must confirm they do live within the boundary of the Montrose Community Council area which can be viewed here - Royal Burgh of Montrose Community Council.pdf (angus.gov.uk)

The Seagreen Community Benefit Fund has been established to benefit communities located in parts of Dundee and Angus who have had some impact from construction of the project. A total of £1.8m will be invested in local projects over the next few years.
