Update: Kirrie roadworks diversions change to accommodate Thursday's emergency closure

As mentioned in our earlier post that highlighted the impact on bus services caused by Scottish Water's emergency road closure of The Roods by Scottish Water, we can now confirm the following tweaks to the the scheduled roadworks plan.

The diversion route for the road works on High Street will be temporarily changed to allow for access via The Glengate to Reform Street and the Town Centre while the emergency closure of The Roods is in place.

Diversion signs in the town centre will be amended to reflect this and, on the completion of Scottish Water's emergency works, The Roods the diversion signage will reverted back to the original routes.

Businesses on The Roods and within the town centre remain open and parking within town centre car parks is available as normal.
