Progress made despite challenging weather

Works at Bank Street in Kirriemuir have progressed well this week despite the difficult weather conditions. However, the road will remain closed this weekend, while businesses and the town centre car parks remain open as usual.

Phase one of Castle Street, Forfar reopened to vehicle traffic today. It has been necessary to keep some areas associated with the works barriered off, but we have made every effort to keep this to a minimum.

Phase two is scheduled to begin in Forfar from Monday (26 January). Businesses and the town centre car parks will be open as usual during this period and we ask you to support your local businesses in both Forfar and Kirriemuir.
