Kirrie High Street works to begin from Monday (2 Feb)
Works have progressed well on Bank Street in Kirrie, with road resurfacing now complete and pavement works almost finished.
Works are expected to be completed this week, weather and any unexpected issued permitting and we'll share a post here once all roadworks are complete and the road is open.
We now plan to start works on High Street from this coming Monday (2 February).
This will involve resurfacing both the road and pavement from the Post Office to beyond the junction with Glengate.
Due to the narrow width of the carriageway, these works must be carried out under a full road closure and this will remain in place for the duration of the works, scheduled to take four weeks to complete.
Further details of the High Street works are:
- There will be no access from High Street to Tannage Brae or Glengate during these works.
- Access to The Roods will be maintained for deliveries and drop-offs.
- Pedestrians will be asked to wait at the barriers before being escorted through the works to businesses/properties.
- A signed diversion route will be in place for all vehicle traffic.
As ever, we thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Thank you for your contribution!
