Good progress at both Kirrie and Forfar work sites

Work has progressed well at both Bank Street, Kirriemuir, and Castle Street, Forfar, during the first week of these projects. This is despite sub-zero temperatures presenting a challenge and and winter maintenance service delivery needs.

The contractor has made very good progress on the south side of Bank Street, Kirriemuir, and it's hoped this section will be completed in the early part of this week. Work will then begin on the north side of Bank street later this week.

Phase one of Castle Street, Forfar has made some good progress, and it's anticipated that a good amount of works in this phase will be achieved by the end of this week - weather and any unforeseen circumstances permitting.

Both projects remain on schedule.

Businesses are open as usual in both Kirriemuir and Forfar town centres, car parking is available within the town car parks which are all within close proximity and we would encourage you to support your local traders.
