Forfar works: Castle Street reopened for the weekend

We're happy to report that a further portion of the works at Castle Street in Forfar have been completed at The Cross and the road is reopening today for the weekend.

Phase three (see the roadworks maps on this page) will continue on Monday 9 February.

The works will be supported by temporary traffic lights. Access and egress from Castle Street onto both East High Street and West High Street will not be possible during this phase.

From 7.30am on Monday (9 Feb), access to Castle Street will only be available via the one-way system from Canmore Street at the north side to Queen Street. Please do not park at The Cross beside The Queens Hotel from 7.30am on Monday (9 Feb) so we can progress with the remainder of phase three.
