Forfar Loch Play Area and Park survey results
The survey was launched on Forfar Gala day at Myre Park on the 15 June. It closed on 22 August 2025.
Three versions of the survey were produced for child, teen, and adult age groups.
The survey's focus was the play area. However, it also included questions about the whole park, to help us understand resident’s views on Forfar Loch play and park.
The current funding has been allocated to replace some items in the play area.
Following the survey, we hope to create a community group made up of Forfar residents and Angus Council staff. This group will work together on the design of the play area and explore funding opportunities.
Survey responses
There was a great response to the survey from residents. Thank you to everyone who took part, including local schools.
The Engage Angus page had over 2000 visits and 650 submitted surveys (244 child, 78 teen and 328 adult).
At the Gala day, 130 residents discussed and commented on the project and used the QR code to access the survey page.
