Angus Council Celebrates National Transport Design Award

Angus Council has secured another national accolade at the Scottish Transport Awards, with the Arbroath A Place for Everyone project winning the Excellence in Transport Design award at this year's ceremony in Glasgow.

The success follows last year's award-winning achievement, when the NCN1 Carnoustie project received the Excellence in Walking, Public Realm and Cycling.

The award reflects the collaborative efforts of the organisations involved in the project's design, delivery and funding, including Angus Council, Arcadis, Balfour Beatty and the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

The recognition reflects how the Arbroath – A Place for Everyone project demonstrates the transformative impact of high-quality transport design, reimagining streets and public spaces to create a safer, more accessible and more attractive town centre for residents and visitors.
