Calling all young people in Angus aged 14 to 25.
We would like your views on what would encourage more young people to get involved in their Community Council.
Community Councils have a statutory responsibility to gather and represent the views of local people, including young people, to the Council and public authorities.
Community Councils may carry out other activities that are in the general interest of the community.
Members of Community Councils are local volunteers who think and care about their area and want it to become a better place to live, work, and visit.
The minimum age to stand for election to an Angus Community Council is 16. Each Community Council may nominate up to 5 youth members (aged 14 and over)
