Angus Council are pleased to announce that we have recently receive Scottish Government grant funding to allow for the continuation and development of active travel projects across Angus in 2026 - 2027.
The Local Authority Direct Award of £81k is intended to deliver active and sustainable travel behaviour change interventions that work towards the vision and outcomes in the Active Travel Framework. Angus project details will be shared in due course.
This year's Active Travel Infrastructure Fund Tier 1 has seen an increase in previous years to £722,688. Infrastructure projects will be delivered across Angus with the final project list to be decided upon following committee approval.
